Located in Central Park South - nicely landscaped.
The ice here is very hard and it's best to skate here with freshly sharpened
blades.
Weekday evenings are probably the best time to skate here.
Easy commute via subway.
No parking lot - if you are lucky you might find a metered parking spot nearby.
Music - varies from classical to pop.
Walkmans no longer allowed.
You can
bring your own padlock for the lockers,
or rent one for $5 + $5 deposit.
Skate rental is also available.
There is a cafe for hot chocolate and snacks.
